We Survived!!!

We made it back Sunday from our vacation to Kansas. We had an amazing time and of course I cried when we left. I really like California but I sure do miss Kansas and all of my family and friends. We did a lot of fun things while visiting including: the zoo, exploration place, a date night (we never get those!), the clearwater pool and bunco with old friends. It had been a long time since we last came home and I am so glad we got the chance to reconnect with friends and family and let the kids bond with Sama and Papa!

Getting ready for "vacation"

We are getting ready to head to Kansas for 2 weeks. Although I am extremely excited I am also nervous about driving for 2 days with a 3 year old and an 18 month old. I'm sure there will be many hours of whining, are we there yets and hysterical tantrums. Maybe I should invest in some ear plugs before we head out. I am looking forward to seeing my family and friends again since my last visit a year and a half ago but I also know that once we get home I will probably be more exhausted than I was when we left.
