Preschool Graduation

Sophia had her preschool graduation ceremony yesterday. She was so cute! The theme was hawaiian and she got to take her picture with her teacher, Ms. Jennifer. She will be attending the same one again next year as well!

The Easter Bunny

Marcus dressed up as the Easter bunny and was letting Sophia sit on his lap. After she visited him she got a candy filled egg!

Sophia's Easter Party

Sophia had her Easter party for preschool on Wednesday. She had a lot of fun visiting the Easter bunny, finding eggs in the egg hunt and getting a big Easter basket.

New Face paint designs

I've been practicing my face painting skills and here are a couple of things that I painted on my arms today.

Face painting

I have been thinking about starting a face painting business. I really need to practice but the kids are not willing to let me do whole faces on them. I did a bunny rabbit on myself yesterday and the kids thought it was so funny. They made me jump around the livingroom with a basket like the Easter Bunny! Geno was freaked out when he got home and saw me! I still need lots of practice but it's a start!

St. Patrick's Day

The kids had so much fun on St. Patricks Day. I made them green eggs and ham with green milk for breakfast. After getting dressed I painted shamrocks and a pot of gold on their arms and then they were off to school. Marcus had a Leprauchaun come to his classroom while they were gone and leave gold dust, foot prints and a mess! :)

Horseback riding

We took the kids to the Stepp Stables here on base to ride the ponys. Marcus was afraid of the horses and only rode for a little bit but Sophia loved it! She cried quite a bit when we had to say goodbye to Montana (the horse) and go home.

Sophia's new bike and scooter

Sophia has been asking for a bike and scooter for a while now so we bought them for her from a friend. She hasn't figured out the bike yet but she is really good on her scooter.

I cut my hair last week and I finally took a pretty good picture so here it is.

Valentine's Day (part 4 and 5)

After seeing all the cool sights at La Jolla we headed to Old Town in San Diego to eat the best Mexican food ever!! Cafe Coyote has been my all time favorite Mexican restaurant since we started dating! So GOOD!! We stuffed our selves and then went over to UTC a really cool mall and went ice skating. Ok, not really a good idea. Marcus cried almost the whole way around the rink even though I never let him fall. Geno and Sophia made it maybe 25 yards and then got off the rink. Oh well, we got the experience. I had fun though but I broke a nail in the process, bummer. We had such a great day and the kids fell right to sleep when we got in the car to go home.

Valentine's Day (part 3)

Once we decided we couldn't get down on the reefs we headed to La Jolla. If any of you ever come to San Diego you have to go to La Jolla cove and see the children's pool and the seals. It is the most breath-taking beautiful place!! The kids had a lot of fun watching the waves hit the rocks and seeing the seals sunbathing on the sand.

Valentines day (part 2)

After a fantastic morning of chocolate we decided to head down to Solana Beach and try to go to Tide park. You can only go down on the beach when it is low tide. There are tide pools and reef with lots of cool animals and anemones inside. Unfortunately when we got there the water was already getting up too high so we didn't risk going out to the reef.

Valentine's Day (part 1)

On Saturday morning when the kids got up we gave them their little gifts from us. They each got a card and a heart filled with chocolate and a little heart with candy. I didn't want them eating it until later but Daddy missed the memo so they got to eat their candy for breakfast!

Valentines Day Party

Sophia and I go to Mommy and Me preschool 2 times a week and last week she had her Valentines day party. She danced, ate some good food and loved her little Monkey she got.
