So Lucky!

We are so lucky to have the opportunity to live near San Diego. There are so many great things to do here. Today we went to the Wild Animal Park. We have passes to the San Diego Zoo and the WAP and we hadn't been in a while so we decided today would be a great day to go. We got to see lots of neat animals and even played in the water. It was a great day.

From Blonde to Brunette

Well, I have been a blonde since I was 15. Last year I changed to red but some how found my way back to being blonde again. I decided last week to go a little darker. However, I am now a brunette. Does that make me smarter? Geno says I couldn't get any smarter! :) Good move on his part! At first I hated it but it is growing on me. It is nice to finally feel like my kids look like me. I'll post some pictures when I'm having a good hair day. (It might be a while!)

Father's Day

We spent Father's day at SeaWorld this year and had a blast. It is hard to believe but we actually got there at 9:00 when they opened and didn't leave until 10:00 at night!!!! The kids were fabulous and we had so much fun. Sophia got to see Elmo even though she wouldn't go near him she loved it and Marcus loved feeding and petting the stingrays. The Dophin show is always a hit and for some reason the Shamu show always makes me teary eyed. LOVE IT!!!!

Living with Batman

I bet many of you are wondering what it is like to live with a super hero. Well, I must tell you it's not all its cracked up to be! You see when you live with your very own super hero you never know if you are the bad guy or the good guy! I find myself walking into rooms and looking around making sure that Batman doesn't decide to destroy me! :) He sure is darn cute though!

Day at the beach

We went to the beach today thinking it would be a fantastic day. Unfortunatly Sophia cried almost the whole time (who knows why) and Marcus wouldn't go near the water. I thought the weather was going to be great but it was very windy which made it feel cold and the water was freezing!!! So much for great California weather! :) Maybe we can plan a day like this again in July when hopefully it will be warmer.

We Survived!!!

We made it back Sunday from our vacation to Kansas. We had an amazing time and of course I cried when we left. I really like California but I sure do miss Kansas and all of my family and friends. We did a lot of fun things while visiting including: the zoo, exploration place, a date night (we never get those!), the clearwater pool and bunco with old friends. It had been a long time since we last came home and I am so glad we got the chance to reconnect with friends and family and let the kids bond with Sama and Papa!
